I don’t think there’s anything more stunning than bright red lipstick. Lately, I won’t leave the house without a tube in my purse! Who doesn’t want to look like the gorgeous girls from Mad Men? I told you I’m obsessed.
Anyways, it took a little trial and error to find the perfect red lipstick, but I found two shades that are amazing. Check them out below and enter to win a tube of my favorite!
1) My number one pick is Red! by Red Apple Lipstick. The company makes 100% gluten-free lipstick and it’s also free of parabens and allergens. How cool is that!? I chose this one as my favorite because it glides on smoothly, stays in place for hours and has the perfect, slightly glossy finish.
2) My second pick is Ruby Woo by MAC. This lipstick is a vivid blue-red shade and is very matte. Your lips have to be very dry when you apply this shade, as it doesn’t glide well over wet lips. This lipstick color is extremely vibrant and very long-lasting. I love it!

Hey! I’ve been dying to try Red Apple since I had to go gluten free, although MAC has some good options, too. I always have a red with me, too, whether it’s an orange-red, a blue-red, or a true red.
The last time I wore it though? I’ve been really sick and just not in the mood, so it would be two weeks ago this last Saturday (or the 12th of May) to a great charity benefit my salon was privileged to help with, and I was privileged to attend!

We had so many red lipsticks in front of us! Such fun! I do need some new red lipstick now and it would remind me of my dear friend. She died of breast cancer. We had some great times together.
